This Polaris Sportsman Light Modification kit will allow you to run both High Beam lights and Low beam lights at the same time. When high beam is on low beam will work as well. Great for people who need more light on night rides. The kit works on all Polaris Sportsmans including the new 2021 Easy to install, color coded wiring only takes a few minutes to install. Kit includes all necessary parts and instructions needed to install. Everything fits in headlight pod to keep the same factory look. No drilling or electrical experience required. Our products are made by a professional electronics manufacturer with quality components and industrial grade potting compound making these units waterproof. Don't fall for imitation products offered here on ebay made in someone's garage with HOT glue and Heat shrink. We have been selling these units for over 10 years.
Don't fall for claims of higher rated current chips/mods that allow higher wattage lights as your atv only produces the same amperage/wattage (around 40-50amps) through out the system. Claims of being able to run higher wattage lights can only be changed by taking out the stator (charging system) in your engine and replacing it with one that produces more amperage, Or get a rectifier to rectify the amperage In return re-charging your battery faster allowing higher wattage lights. Since atvs do not have alternators to replace they have stators More Powered/wattage items on an atv requires a larger stator/rectifier to recharge the battery faster(In cars it would be a larger alternator)!!!
In short changing the chip that regulates the lights will not fix your need for more power, don't let your lights kill your battery leaving you stuck in the middle of no where with no jumpers or chargers around for miles!!!
With increasing demand for high-output lighting on ATVs and side-by-side UTVs, high-output stators become a necessity. ATVs use either AC or DC power to run their headlights. These systems are often very simple from the factory and provide a very minimal amount of power.
Note: Our Light Modification kits are not like others on eBay that are wrapped in black tape and will corrode and fail in no time.
