Instructions for making beading necklace chain into a finished chain are given below.
Using your own clasp: you will need one length of fine beading chain, a pair of 0.7 mm sterling silver crimp ends for fine beading chain, a pair of jump rings, lock rings or split rings and a clasp of your choice. First you need to cut the beading chain to the appropriate length with a regular pair of household scissors: you will need to allow for the crimp ends, jump rings and clasp in the final measurement, so it is a good idea to lay all the items out on a cloth and measure the finished length of the necklace before you cut the chain. Once you have cut the chain to size, thread each end of the chain into the barrel of the crimp end, one end at a time, and then squeeze the middle chamber firmly closed with a pair of pliers. Now attach one jump ring, lock ring or split ring to each end of the chain, and then attach the clasp to these.
