Early War Miniatures German Pz Kpfw III Ausf N with Schurtzen 20mm Scale New, sealed and unbuilt.
Ref No : GARM23 The Ausf N was produced between June 1942 and August 1943 fitted with the short barrel 7.5cm KwK 37 L/24 gun. This fired a more effective high explosive shell as well as a shaped charged round with better armour penetration than the long barrel 5cm KwK L/60 which it replaced. The Ausf N was popular with ground troops resulting in the remaining Ausf M's on order being completed as Ausf N instead. In all, around 700 were produced. In service, 10 Pz Kpfw III Ausf N provided close support to 9 Tiger I or were used in Panzer Regiments in the same way as short barrel Pz Kpfw IV. The Pz Kpfw III Ausf N service in North Africa and also at Kursk in 1943. The Schurzen was added as the war progressed to provided additional protection against hollow shaped charges. Kit is a 20mm Zone rapid build with around 13 parts and comprises resin hull with white metal parts. Includes crewman and accessories. Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
