Manufactured by Musashi, and this is from their Musha series. Designed by Sam Sung. Blade is traditionally hand forged, folded, and heat tempered 1045 high carbon steel.  This is not a display piece but a fully functional sword that can be used for tameshigiri (cutting exercises) or Iaido (drawing practice).  Wood display stand, case, and cloth bag are also included. The sword can be fully dismantled for cleaning or maintenance.

Features

Blade: Fully functional traditionally hand forged, folded, and heat tempered 1045 high carbon steel blade with visible Damascus pattern.  Hand honed to a razor sharp edge.
 
Tang: Full tang with two push pins to securely hold the blade.  Tang length is about 2/3 the length of the handle

Tsuka (handle): Hardwood handle featuring genuine ray skin and heavy gauge cotton cord for superior grip

Tsuba (guard): Metal alloy

Fittings: One-piece brass habaki and copper spacers

Saya (scabbard): Wood with high gloss finish

Intended Use:  Medium intensity cutting exercises and drawing practice
 
Included Accessories: Single sword stand, case,  and protective cloth bag (may be blue or black)
