2 Drive Belts for Rega Planar 2 and 3 Turntables

Turntable Basics:
The analogue turntable is a device designed to spin a vinyl record at a constant speed and permit the tone arm/phono cartridge system to 'read' and report changes in the record grooves with minimal interference. It provides listening pleasure that has yet to be fully realized by the compact disc, digital video disc, and digital technology. This is the reason why its use continues today despite its exaggerated demise.

Why Should I Replace My Turntable Belt?
Pitch accuracy goes out the window when your belt stretches or wears. Return your Rega to its correct pitch with a new belt.

When should I replace my turntable drive belt?
Usually 3-5 years seems to be the average. Belts stretch with time. A belts worst enemy is being idle. Run the turntable occasionally if you don't play records regularly. Also, check for signs of slow starting.  This is usually caused by belt slip (the result of stretching).  A belt stretched >5% over its new length should be replaced.

Fits The Following Rega Models:
Planar 2, Planar 3

Note that the original Rega belts are round in cross section, these are square but perform equally well.
