We are pleased to offer an original and undoubtedly very rare Post World War 1 poster dated January 1, 1920, titled Carry On Y D (26th army division nicknamed the Yankee Division). The poster is 28" L X 19" W. This poster was sponsored by Major General C. R .Edwards in conjunction with the 6 NE Governors who served as honorary advisors and in cooperation with State Street Bank and Trust of Boston. The goal was to raise $200,000.00 to build a social club so that the 10,000 surviving members living in NE could come together to remember the living and the dead. The poster is in excellent condition with no tears, bent corners or stains. However, there are some visable horizonal crease marks. In the 1950's, the original owner had this poster and others he owned placed on a poster board backing (not attached) and then shrink wrapped to preserve. Truly a unique piece of American history.
