A VERY RICH SCHEELITE & POWELLITE ORE SPECIMEN FROM THE PINE CREEK MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Collected in August 2008 by myself.  Very hard locale to bring out large specimens like this, it is very remote.  I would call this a one of a kind tungsten ore specimen!  The calcite association is rare for the locale.

Endeavoring to bring high quality fluorescents to the average collector and future displayer of fluorescent minerals!

I CANNOT EXPRESS JUST HOW BRIGHT THIS SPECIMEN FLUORESCES, A TRUE DISPLAY QUALITY SPECIMEN, I'D KEEP BUT I HAVE TOO MUCH ALREADY.  CHECK THIS AND MANY OTHER SPECIMENS OF BRIGHT FLUORESCENT BLUE SHORT-WAVE SCHEELITE FROM CALIFORNIA.  THESE ARE EXTREMELY RICH PIECES AND WHILE THE PHOTOGRAPHY IS SUB-PAR, THE SPECIMEN IS TOP CLASS!

THE MINE LOCALITY IS NOT OPEN ANYMORE AND THE AREA IS BEING MADE INTO VACATION HOMES, AND IS VERY REMOTE.

DISPLAY MUSEUM QUALITY &  EXCELLENT FLUORESCENT SPECIMEN!!!  This specimen is an excellent example of Scheelite (fl. blue and white SW), Calcite (fl. red SW), and Powellite (fl. yellow SW) from the Strawberry Mine, Madera County, California, USA.  FANTASTIC example of these fluorescent species from this locale!  The fluorescent area consists of a richly CONCENTRATED & DISSEMINATED SCHEELITE & POWELLITE in/on matrix with bright fl. Calcite, ON MULTIPLE SIDES OF THE SPECIMEN.  This is a great example of the true blue fluorescing scheelite, rare for the locale.  Displays wonderfully, sits upright with natural base.  The size of the specimen is 7" (17.5 cm) by 5" (12.5 cm) by 3-1/2" (8.8 cm), an extra large CABINET sized MUSEUM specimen.  DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY.  Great to add to a competitive display.  Check this and my many other offerings now and in the days to come.  The fluorescent picture(s) are under SW UV light, I am using a Superbright SW lamp.  I apologize for any quality issues with my photographs, I am not a photographer, but a field collector at heart.  The specimens I sell are much better in person, check out my feedbacks!

Do not miss out in adding one of these high quality examples of California fluorescence/mineralogy.

I am an active member of the Fluorescent Mineral Society, PAST UV Waves Editor, and have been a member for over 40+ years.  Although I don't feel that aged.  I know what fellow fluorescent hobbiests are looking for, and will only offer quality here.  I do guarantee my offerings, and as you see in my feedbacks, many buyers tell me how the specimens are better in person.

PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT PURCHASING THE ITEM.

The shipping on this specimen is $75.00 for domestic bidders and $150 for international bidders.  I do combine auctions to reduce overall combined shipping costs for multiple specimen purchases.  Payment is required immediately, and shipping is non-negotiable.

HAPPY HUNTING AND THANKS FOR VIEWING MY OFFERINGS!  KEEP CHECKING BACK AS I HAVE ROUTINE OFFERINGS OF VERY HIGH QUALITY!!
