Lot 12 Tim Mee 'Armored Cars' Big Wheel Variants

This lot of a dozen (6 tan and 6 green) Tim Mee #7190 Military Armored Reconnaissance Scout Vehicles were manufactured in the last days of the great American toy company, Processed Plastic (Tim Mee's parent company). These are unusual as they were assembled with larger wheels and axles, probably to use up available parts as the factory wound down. The larger wheels give the vehicles an aggressive off-road look, but the axles do not turn as freely as the regular wheeled versions due to a slightly larger axle diameter. Vehicles also feature turrets that rotate and metal axles. Scout cars measures 6.25 inches long and are approximately 1:32 scale. Made from slightly stiff green and tan color HDPE plastic with medium detail and very little flashing. First produced in 1984 and modeled after the experimental Lockheed XM800W. These vehicles have been safely stored in a sealed factory boxes since the factory closed their doors, and have been individually inspected for return to the marketplace. These are real toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up and played with for years to come. Recommended for ages 5 to 105! /td>
