ARTIST: WILLIAM ESKEY (1891-1937), CALIFORNIA CA LISTED ETCHING PRINT, MISSION SAN GABRIEL, EARLY CALIF ART. Early California etching, etching of the San Gabriel Mission. As found, some paper toning common with early 20th Century prints and etchings (see photos). In need of new acid free matting which would cover the age spots. Actual etching in center has strong dark black color and appears to be in good condition. Would appeal to California mission print collectors. LISTED: Askart, Hughes - Artists In California 1786-1940.

SIZE: aprox. 8x12 actual etching paper (full size of sheet including margins), actual center etching size aprox. 4x8 inches

CONDITION: In good vintage antique condition. A couple age spots can be seen above the main etching (see photos), would be covered once rematted and reframed. In need of new acid free mat. Some age toning can be seen to the paper, common with early 20th Century etching prints (see photos). Corners are a little wavy and show some age wear (see photos of corner).
