Divine PAIR Silverplate WMF BOTTLE HOLDER LOUIS XVI Style. 

   ** FLASCHENSTÄNDER** 

   RUBANS:  A crossed ribbon that follows the edge of the holder. This type of decoration was so widely used in the late eighteenth century that it became one of the characteristics of the Louis XVI style. 

   Created by the well known German firm WMF (Wurtembergische MetalWarenFabrik).  

  Marked:    "BAZAR COLON - MONTEVIDEO".   114 – “B”- "Ostrich WMF g" - "I/O" - "OX" and                        “g” 

   Dimensions approx.:  

 * Diameter top 4 1/8" (10,5 cms.)
 * Tall 3 1/2" (9 cms.)
