2016 Machin Stamps with Security Features
Set of 25 Self Adhesive Singles with Code Letter Variations M16L and O16R + Source Codes
Specialist Set of 25 single Machins with Security Features consisting of U shaped slits and iridescent overprint.
Many Machin printings from 2010 onwards include a year identification code as well as the source codes previously introduced in 2009.
Each of these stamps contains a hidden source code letter on the right hand side of the stamp, allowing the source of the stamp to be identified. The M16L or O16R year code is to be found on the left hand side of the Queen's Head.
This set is up to date as at December 2016 and contains all the basic 2016 varieties that have been reported so far, including the latest £2.25 counter sheet discovery.
Prestige Book (PVA gummed) varieties, Tariff increase issue, Recorded Delivery, Special delivery stamps, Backing paper varieties where there is more than one variant and dark red shade varieties (where they have the same source code) are excluded and are listed separately in my ebay shop.

Stamp arrangement and selvedge may vary, the scan is a representative example of the stamps.
As always with security overprints, the strength of the overprint can vary from crystal clear to almost invisible across different sources.
This set may be updated in the future to include new items as they are issued. If you previously purchased an earlier version of the set with less stamps, you can still purchase the additional stamps individually from the listings in my ebay shop.
Set does not include Dark Red Shades where these have the same source code, these are available separately.
