5.25" Sphenodiscus AMMOLITE AMMONITE Fossil GEODE! South Dakota Both Sides!










This a complete Sphenodiscus ammonite inside a GEODE!  Positive and Negative!  Actually part of the ammonite is on each side, with the chambers seperated showing the inside of the ammonite!

This was a found as a round rock, when split it revealed a beautiful ammonite on the bottom and its reverse impression on the top.  The ammonite is 5.25" across, and the geode is 8" x 7" x 5 inches high and weighs 14 lbs 5 oz!! 

 Rare Species of ammonite from South Dakota with iridescent ammolite on the shell: green, yellow, pink.
