ROYAL DOULTON ORCHIDS - RARE VARIANT - H3906 - SELECTION OF PLATES

Offered for sale is this small selection of bone china plates made by Royal Doulton in the rare variant orchids pattern. It is pattern number H3906. This pattern very rarely turns up, the black random edging is something I have never seen on plates before.
This rare variant features either pink orchids on their own, or pink and yellow orchids. All the plates have an unusual and distinctive black decoration on the outer edge, and gilding.
All the plates are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage. However, as with all used plates there are scratches and marks, and also most of the gilding is well worn and in fact is only just visible on most of the plates (see photos).
They are all fully marked on the base with the Royal Doulton stamp, which I understand dates them from 1930 onwards.

The plates I have for sale are;
1. TWO SERVING PLATES (2 HANDLES); pink and yellow orchids, approx. 9.26 inches across from handle to handle, gilding very worn around the handles. Both plates have the number 6 on the base.
2. TWO TEA PLATES (PINK & YELLOW ORCHIDS); approx. 6.75 inches diameter, one plate has number 11 on the base.
3. TWO TEA PLATES (PINK ORCHIDS); approx. 6.75 inches diameter, both plates have the number 6 on the base.
4. TWO TEA PLATES (PINK ORCHIDS); approx. 6.75 inches diameter, one plate has the number 5 on the base and the other has the number 6.
5. THREE TEA PLATES (PINK ORCHIDS); approx. 6.75 inches diameter, these plates all have the number 7 on the base.
