How does this listing work?
It is very simple - from the 1st drop down menu you just select whether you want the Urine Sample Cup with the tests. Then from the 2nd drop down menu you choose the number of drug tests you want. We offer pack sizes of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 tests. Each test will test for all the 7 drugs listed above.
If you have any questions at all then please click on "Ask a question" at the bottom of the listing and we will be happy to help :)
*Please note that you need to select an option from both drop down menus to get the correct total price*
Why would I need a Urine Sample Cup?
The urine sample cups that we provide have a temperature strip on them which will enable you to see if the urine is a fresh sample. This is particularly important if you are testing someone else and are concerned that they may use somebody else's urine (a "clean" sample) to ensure that they do not show positive. As long as the temperature strip shows a temperature between 32-38 C (90-100 F), then it indicates that the sample is a fresh one. These cups are re-usable - just rinse out with warm water after use (do not soak in hot water or put through a dishwasher!).
How good are these tests?
We are now one of the largest suppliers of drug tests to customers throughout the world and our tests are used in treatment centres, hospitals and by medical professionals. They are made specifically for us and comply with CE (European Community) and FDA (United States) rules and regulations and every pack has the approval details printed on them. We also supply large parts of the UK National Health Service (the NHS). The tests we supply to the NHS are identical to the ones we sell to you and every batch is checked religiously for quality and accuracy - they are more than 99% accurate. As for the expiry dates, they will always be at least 1 year away and more often nearly 2 years (which is the legal maximum).
Drug testing works for 3 major reasons:
1. Drug testing your child will discourage them not to use drugs and so protects them from illegal dangerous drug abuse.
2. If employers drug test their employees this will help decrease the amount of working days lost per year from drug abuse. The latest data estimates that around £1 billion is lost per year because of drug abuse in the work place.
3. Drug testing in schools will have a huge benefit to both the school and the child. Currently it is estimated that 1 in 5 children will have handled drugs and by the time they are 13 most children will have tried drugs. From that figure it is then said that 1 in 3 children will become regular users.
We sell drug-testing kits for all types of drugs and the kits are available with different testing strips for you to choose which drugs you want to be tested. All of the drug tests are simple to use and only involve taking a sample of urine. Results are accurate and rapid (in 5 minutes).
When should I do the test and how is the test carried out?
This test can be carried out at any time.
Test Procedure
1. Open the bag containing the plastic drug cup and remove the cup.
2. The person to be tested for the presence of drugs needs to urinate into the drug cup. Ensure the specimen reaches the 20 ml fill line on cup. There is a temperature bar on urine sample cup. If the temperature does not show a green colour then the test may have been tampered with. Human urine should be between 90-100ºF.
3. Remove the test panel from the foil pouch.
4. Pull the protective cap off the bottom of the test panel to reveal the absorbent testing strips, do not touch the strips and do not throw away the protective cap.
5. Carefully dip the testing strips into the urine sample, ensuring that the urine does not come into contact with the plastic case of the test. Allow the test to absorb the urine for about 10-15 seconds.
6. After 15 seconds, remove the test from the urine and replace the protective cap.
7. Lay the test panel on a clean flat surface while the test lines develop.
8. You can read negative results as soon as they appear but positive results must be read at least 5 minutes after removing from urine. All results should be read within 8 hours, otherwise a false reading may occur.
How do I read the results?
Read the results of each strip individually and independent of one another.
You will see 2 letters on the drugs cassette by the test strips, C' this is the control band and T', the test band.
A pink coloured line should appear on each strip of the control band (C), this confirms each strip has worked properly. If no line appears in the control band (C) then that strip has not worked properly.
A second pink coloured line, no matter how faint should now appear in the test band (T). This is a negative result. If a second line does not appear on a strip then that strip has tested positive for the drug of abuse on the label above the strip.
Remember a negative urine sample will produce 2 lines, and a positive urine sample will produce only one line in the control band (C).
