Medium-coarse hair with a slight curl will receive 90-100% volume reduction and 70-80% curl reduction
Curly hair will receive 70% volume reduction and 60-70% curl reduction
Dry, very curly hair will receive a 50% volume reduction and a 50-60% curl reduction
Preparation: Shampoo hair (2x) with Bio-Ionic iClarify. Do not use conditioner. Rinse thoroughly. Towel dry / blow dry hair until 80-90% dry. Do not to over-dry the hair, for this will cause over saturation to occur during application.

Application: Using bowl, applicator brush, fine-tooth comb and gloves, begin application process. Part hair into 4 primary sections. If sections become too dry, gently mist with water to even out porosity prior to applying treatment. Shake treatment well before use. Measure 1 oz of the Agave Smoothing Treatment into a bowl. (Depending on hair density an additional ounce may be needed). Start at the neckline using 1/4 - 1/2 inch subsections. Apply a minimal amount of treatment 1/4 of an inch away from the scalp from roots to ends. Do NOT over saturate. Use a fine tooth comb to evenly distribute treatment throughout the subsections. If there is treatment remaining on the comb after combing through hair, pull down the next sub-section and work sections together ensuring proper saturation. Complete application to entire head.

Process: Allow treatment to process for 20 minutes. Avoid using heat or covering with a bag. Part hair into 4 sections. With a large Round or Paddle brush, use tension to blow dry treatment onto the hair. Avoid using a hood dryer or touching the hair with the nozzle of the blow dryer. Use MEDIUM heat. Avoid over-drying the hair, for this will cause an excess amount of smoke. Should this occur, blow dryer heat settings are too high or the dryer is too close to the hair. Part hair into 4 primary sections - Start at the neckline using 1/4 in subsections, pass the ceramic flat iron from roots to ends. Temperate and # of passes per subsection depends on hair type (use the following chart).
