PLEASE NOTE – Due to this connector having a diameter of 13mm you will require a crimp tool that has a jaw size of 11.2mm. We sell 2 different types so please be sure to purchase the correct one (PRO version). If you have any doubts which one tool would be most suitable, please get in touch.

  

Overview:

 

This Connector can be crimped on to a suitable cable with a crimp tool to provide high quality connection to F-connector equipment. If you would like any further information on how to crimp, please get in touch. We also stock a professional grade crimp tool in our shop.

 

Suitable for the following Cable:

 

RG11, CT165/WF165 and any other similar sized coaxial cables. 

 

If you don’t know what type of coaxial cable you have, this connector will crimp to coaxial cable with an outer diameter of 9-10mm approx.

 

How to Install:

 

First, you will need to cut the cable leaving only central core exposed, this can be done with a cable stripper but if you are confident with a pair of snips / a stanley knife, this will also do the job.

 

Now, Crimp the supplied central pin to the central core of your coax cable. This is a necessary step as the core of your coaxial cable will be thicker than the standard size of an F-Connector pin.

 

You can now insert one of our connectors over the top of the prepared cable. A metal ring inside of the connector will go underneath the outer layer of the PVC on your cable when the connector is pushed on. When inserted correctly, the internal metal ring of the connector should be underneath the outer layer of PVC and make contact with the braid/shielding of your cable.

 

You can now insert this connector into an appropriate crimping tool. After this has been successfully crimped you will have created a weatherproof seal.
