The glass is so smooth and comforting to touch and hold.  It is hard to show in the picture how smooth the glass is.  The clear glass on top gives the piece tremendous depth (hard to show in the picture).

About the artist:

Lulu is an American (born and raised in Missouri) Artist.  Growing up in St. Louis with a family of artists, musicians and teachers created a tremendous craving for a creative outlet.  Lulu has been working with glass since 2003.  The glass beads are made Lulu’s studio “Beads By Lulu”.  Working with glass is so much fun and filled with surprises!  Sometimes, the glass takes on a life of it’s own!  A glass bead may go into the kiln with Lulu’s idea in mind and come out as planned or completely different!  The Lampwork beads are made using a torch.  The fun as an artist is to enjoy the wonderful synergy of the glass and the artist!  The glass beads are then fashioned into earrings, bracelets or pendants.  Matching pressed glass beads accent the wonderful glass art pieces.  When the piece is complete, a tremendous sense of accomplishment is felt by Lulu.
