Armourfast 99022 1/72 WWII Russian T-34/76 1943 Tank (2 Models)
The Russian T-34 was the most influential tank design of World War
II, with its sloping armour, heavy hitting firepower and rapid mobility. It
first saw combat in the summer of 1941, and its qualities soon set it apart
from other medium tanks of the period. However, its battlefield superiority did
not last long, and it was soon matched by German designs such as the Panther.
Several models, designated by years, were produced between 1940
and 1943, featuring changes such as upgunning (model 1941) and redesigning the
turret (model 1943). This new cast hexagonal turret, nicknamed “Mickey Mouse”
by the Germans because of its appearance with the twin, round turret-roof
hatches open had less sloped sides than previously and it was slightly taller,
increasing the amount of internal space, but it was still a cramped two-man
turret.
This version of the T34 also had the ability to mount external
fuel tanks for increased range.
All our kits come with 2 MODELS IN EACH BOX giving you the
flexibility to produce the variation of your choice.
These models are imported from Armourfast in London and among the
most popular military models in the world.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not
included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's
responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs
office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or
buying.
Please note: I have no love of
import/export taxes or customs duties. That said, I pay mine and if your
country has them it is your responsibility to pay yours. Many sellers raise
their shipping or merchandise prices to offset the added expense caused by
customs returns when customers fail to pay or pick up their items from customs.
I refuse to penalize good customers for this-I simply block bad ones from
purchasing my goods in the future.
Customs tips: 1) Include a dependable phone number with your eBay shipping
address to be printed on your shipping label. This way they at least have the
ability to contact you if they have questions. 2) Know how to contact your
local customs office prior to purchasing your goods and contact them yourself
if you haven’t received your goods within the expected delivery time (over 3
weeks usually means it is time to make that phone call). Your local mail
delivery person is usually a good source for this contact information. 3) Don’t
assume that customs is looking to tax you (they will if your goods exceed your
country’s minimum tariff values for imports). Often it is simply a question or
2 they need answered. Once you let them know that your “set of German Commandos
throwing grenades” is simply an inert WWII model in 1/76 scale….they will
likely send it on its way:) 4) Lastly-please NEVER ask me to lie on my customs
forms. You would be amazed at how often I get this request. Consider this-if I
were to do such a thing, I would be risking my eBay account (my job), my access
to US Mail (again, my job), criminal prosecution (not as bad as losing eBay..but
significant!) and quite sadly the last consideration is my own integrity? Gimme
a break fellas:) I’ll bend over backwards to get you guys rare toys at awesome
prices…but here’s where I draw the line. And FYI pictures of me bending over
backwards are not available at any price:)
I combine
shipping whenever possible, ship at actual cost, and
refund any overpayment via PayPal within minutes of printing your shipping
label. Slower method, but you see shipping cost prior to
paying: Order all of your items, DO NOT PAY, request a combined invoice
from me, I send you a revised invoice with the correctly adjusted shipping
charge, you pay, then I ship.
Fastest
method-order all of your items, pay, I adjust your invoice for any overpayment
and ship immediately. As a general rule (90+% of the time) more items =
significantly lower shipping costs per item.
