This listing is designed to cover all areas of Omega Omegamatic problems & faults & how to get them repaired at a reasonable price.

Each of the options is designed to cover a common problem you may be experiencing with your Omegamatic.

Below are descriptions of certain 'symptoms' to help to choose the right repair option, these are very important so please read them closely & choose accordingly.

If your watch has taken on water ie Water has gotten inside the case, there is nothing that can be done other that replacing the kinetic movement completely, we can do this but will need to quote a price on request.

Option 1 is for watches where the seconds hand is still moving, even if erratically, ie in 4 second intervals. Even if the watch has completely stopped, will the seconds hand move at all if shaken or hand wound? If the answer is 'Yes' these options are the ones for you.

Options 2 is for watches where the second hand no longer moves no matter how much the watch is shaken or hand wound. A watch with just a faulty capacitor will still tick even with the capacitor removed!!! If yours won't tick at all the problem is somewhere else but will still require a new capacitor once the main problem is sorted out.

In all repair scenarios brand new Omega (ETA) parts will be used

Option 1: £99.99 The Standard Capacitior Replacement or Upgrade.

If your watch is not 'holding a charge' or has the dreaded '4 second tick' this is the listing for you!!! Simply select option 1 from the drop down menu above then complete the BUY IT NOW process, we will then send you a messaqge via the eBay system thats contains our postal address. It is then up to you to post it to us at your convenience using whichever method you see fit, we would recommend using a traceable/recorded method with adequate insurance, once we receive the item we will contact you to confirm receipt, carry out the capacitior replacement/upgrade, check the watches systems over then return the now fully working watch to you via Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. This service is fully trackable & offers insurance coverage of up to £500.

Option 2: £199.99 The Complete Repair & Service including new capacitor.

This is the option if your watch appears completely dead. If no matter how many times you shake it the seconds hand will not move or tick. As with option 1, once you have selected option 2 & completed the BUY IT NOW process we will send you a messaqge via the eBay system thats contains our postal address. It is then up to you to post it to us at your convenience using whichever method you see fit, we would recommend using a traceable/recorded method with adequate insurance, once we receive the item we will contact you to comfirm receipt. We will then diagnose the problem with your watch, repair it using brand new Omega parts then fit the new capacitor. When we are happy that everything is running as it should we will return it to you using Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. This service is fully trackable & offers insurance coverage of up to £1000 paid for by us.

 

In the event that option 1 or 2 is chosen but when the watch arrives options 3 & 4 were needed we will happily offer the customer the opportunity to increase their level of service. If this is declined the watch will be returned & a refund issued with deductions to cover return postage & packaging costs.

We record on video the opening of every watch that gets sent to us to protect against any accusations of misconduct. We are not out to wrangle extra monies from our customers but on the other hand we have been stung in the past by customers claiming a faulty capacitor then when it arrives it's something more serious yet they expect repairs at the original price. We wish to use our expertise to help repair your watch at an affordable price (Omega charge £350+ to perform the same service as our option 1 & they don't have to buy parts!!!!).
