Product Description:
LiftMaster model 890MAX is a three button key chain garage door opener and/or gate opener remote control that is compatible with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman and other openers manufactured by Chamberlain Corporation since 1993. Each button of this remote can be set to activate a different format of opener giving it more flexibility than many other types of remotes that only work with one format type. The LiftMaster 390MAX has a small hole at the side where the program button is located. A opened up paper clip can be used to put the remote into program mode and then with the opener or receiver in learn mode the button to be used is pressed repeatedly until the opener or receiver learn indicator light flashes. Then any other button is press to program the button that has just been set to the correct mode. That button should then be set to the opener or receiver and is ready to use. The process is repeated with the other buttons on the remote if needed to control another opener. Includes battery, key ring and programming instructions.
