NOTE: Before connecting this 4pin/6pin connector to a FireWire port on a device, align the connector and port carefully. Do not force a connector into a port. Make sure you use the right connector with the right port. The same is true with all connectors. Make certain the orientation of the cable connector is the same as the FireWire port. NEVER force a cable into an port or you will damage the computer and the FireWire device.
