MAX PEARLESCENT POWDER is a special effects color pigment that can be added to a clear or pigmented epoxy resin system to produce a deep color luster. It is a non-toxic mica-based pigment and easily mixed into the resin system by gentle stirring.
The MAX PEARLESCENT POWDER pigment can be directly added to the resin system in varying amounts based on the desired color effect.
A 1% addition to a crystal clear resin system such as the MAX CLR A/B will yield a translucent pearl luster, and a 5% addition produces an opaque silver-satin silver color.

MAX PEARLESCENT POWDER pigments create dramatic color effects when used with opaque pigmented resin systems. A 5% addition to an opaque blue, yellow or red will produce a metallic color effect. A 1% addition to a clear resin system and applied as thin translucent coating creates a color-shifting effect while maintaining the base or background color.
