262A and 262B are the finest choice to drive the amplifiers that employed with types 300A, 300B, 252A , 350A, 350B as Power output tubes. 

The type 262A , 262B and 1603 are simply among the most quietest drivers.  The 310A 310B are still inferior in this respect, as confessed by an experienced early Western Electric senior technician.
