Blue Sea 7603 ACR - Automatic Charging Relay combioned with 90 - 265 Volt input AC multistage charger with 10A output.

An ideal solution for on and off grid charging requirements with an all in one unit combining a Voltage Sensing Automatic Charging Relay and an AC powered multi step battery charger.

With the complexity of vehicle systems today it can often be difficult to install a split charge system, without the use of CAN bus adaptors or possibly invalidating the manufactures warranty.

The use of a VSR or Voltage Sensing Relay removes the need for complicated wiring, they have been used in the leisure world for some time but but with a limited current capacity and must be mounted in the dry.

The 7603 overcomes all of these restrictions found with most VSR's and is packed with features & functionality

• M6 terminals to accept all cable sizes
• Rated at 65 Amps continous, but capable of handling inrush currents of up to 115 Amps for five minutes
• IP67 rated (temporary immersion in water for up to 20 minutes)
• CE approved and marked
• Remote status LED output, indicates when relay is active and alerts to any probelms - LED not supplied
• Side or bottom cable entry points
• Dual sensing so it does not matter which battery is connected to which side
• Undervoltage lockout - will not operate if battery is below 10.8 volts to protect relay & system
• When connected to AC both batteries will be charged

The unit only has to be connected to the primary and secondary batteries - the rest is done automatically removing the need for finding alternator sense wires, ignition feeds not live whilst cranking etc, once the alternator is charging the 7603 will kick in to allow charge through to the second battery subject to the second battery being able to accept charge and above 10.8 volts.

When connected to AC power the 7603 will charge either or both batteries using multi stage charging.
