Jackson’s Drawing Ink is made with a base of shellac and purified water, ensuring a smooth clean flow. It is well suited for brush, ink pen and air brush use. This ink is not suitable for fountain pens.

The range includes 23 colours which can be mixed to produce intermediate hues. Jackson’s inks can also be diluted with water to achieve washes and subtle tones, perfect for line and wash pieces. Once dry Jacksons Drawing Coloured Ink is permanent, waterproof and lightfast under normal light conditions. The Indian ink, white and metallics are all completely permanent and lightfast.
