Here is an unusual and interesting antique textile fragment. It has an official stamp on the backside which is lined with a raw silk textile. The embroidery is silk on woven wool felt and somewhat reminiscent of Caspian Rescht embroideries. I believe it may be from Uzbekistan or possibly India, probably mid19th Century. All natural colors.

It measures 11 x 7 inches.
