The CRKT M16 collection of knives were designed by legendary custom knife maker Kit Carson of Vine Grove, Kentucky. They are tough little bulldogs used and trusted by sportsman, emergency personnel, hunters, military personnel and loved by knife collectors all over the world. All models feature the Carson Flipper, which is not only an aid to opening the blade, especially when wearing gloves, but acts as a blade guard when the blade is open. CRKT also incorporated their patented AutoLAWKS automatic knife safety into all models, which converts the M16 series into virtual fixed blades when the blades are open and locked. All styles have Teflon bearings and a removable plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip. The pocket clip is reversible. M16 knives are assembled with superior offset Torx fasteners.
