The Disney Princess Series began in 2005 with the introduction of three characters: Cinderella, Jasmine (from Aladdin), and Belle (from Beauty and the Beast).  In 2006, two more were added to the list: Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty) and Ariel (from the Little Mermaid).

Snow White was added early in 2007 as a re-design over the first Snow White that was issued in 1966 (to accompany Dopey the dwarf).  In 2010, Snow White was repackaged into a Special Commemorative package with the 7 dwarfs and put on a Yellow 5.9 China stem.  The Dwarfs were all put on mini 5.9 China stems with their respective names printed on the front of the stem.
