A fine and unusual Capodimonte porcelain lozenge-shaped covered and handled condiment bowl with matching underplate. It has lovely decoration of swans, water birds and castles with a charming finial on cover depicting a chick hatching from an egg. The decoration is all hand painted and gilt.
