Power Span Dual Coil Pickups
SR fans will immediately notice the new look of the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups. Developed by Ibanez, the exposed pole pieces of the PDC pickups produce a stronger signal, and increase the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing low end. The result is a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression.

Ibanez 3-band EQ with 'Power Tap'
The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones. Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds-combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.

5 Piece Maple & Rosewood Neck
The SR neck is famous for its slim easy-to-play profile. The 5pc Maple / Rosewood construction provides excellent strength and stability while enhancing sustain. A matte finish allows the player's palm to effortlessly slide up and down the neck for unfettered performance.

Accu-cast B120 Bridge
The B120's extra-wide string slots can accommodate even the heaviest of gauges. Walls and channels of the new bridge plate effectively 'trap' the saddles, ensuring perfect directional uniformity.

Next door is our café and complex of rehearsal and tuition studios available for hire seven days a week, where we also run regular workshops, instrumental lessons, demo events and recording sessions. Soon to be added is a  professional recording studio and control room.

Every member of our 50-strong absolutemusic team is an experienced musician or engineer who can offer you accurate, expert advice on anything from vintage guitars to the latest software. We pride ourselves on always recommending the right products for the job, most of which can be sent out on next-day delivery!

As well as our busy sales and studio departments, we have a super-supportive Technical Support department who can offer advice and help with your gear, and a  flexible Hire Department offering a wide range of gear available for your upcoming events.

We deliver all items, except items worth less than £30, by insured courier.
In most cases we can deliver items within a couple of working days. We will contact you should delivery be delayed. Exceptions may apply to non-mainland destinations, the very north of Scotland and non-UK destinations.
Before sending goods, we will contact you via email to let you know when we will be shipping and provide you with tracking information.
Most items are delivered on an overnight service ( 2-3 days for non-mainland UK and 3-5 days for mainland Europe ). If you are in the UK, but not on the mainland, a delivery surcharge may apply and the service may vary.
