To fit 1982 - 86 E28 CHASSIS 524td , 1982-1988 528e , 83-84 533i , 85-88-until production of 12/1987 535i, 1988 E28 chassis 535is excluding M5 models. 

Also Fits 1985 to 1989 E24 chassis 633csi 635csi.

The Fronts of this item is a shock Cartridge insert, Therefore For the front struts you have to Re-Use the front serviceable strut housing that has the spring seat on it, just open the top large glan nut slide old shock insert out, slide this new front shock insert in and re cap with new Gland nut provided in the box.
