Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1971 Ludwig model # 410 " Super-Sensitive " snare drum.
This drum has a shell that measures 5" deep x 14" wide, and is made up out of Anti-Galvanic " Lud-Alloy ".
The serial number on the Ludwig "keystone" badge is # 848291 There is a factory date stamp of "JAN 15 1971" stamped on the inside.
This drum is plated in chrome, but it is showing signs of heavy surface pitting. The entire drum is in round and tunes up beautifully
There are no modifications or extra holes in this drum.
This drum is factory equipped with 10 die-cast "IMPERIAL"snare lugs, two steel triple-flanged hoops, 20 tension rods, a Ludwig internal muffler assembly, and a Ludwig parallel snare mechanism. All of the parts are chrome plated and are showing signs of serious, heavy pitting.
* The parallel snare mechanism is fully functional and it snaps into position securely and smoothly, but the throwoff side is bent slightly to the side.
This drum is surprisingly bright, snappy and super responsive. The original Ludwig Super-Sensitive logo snare wires are intact.
