The "Trihex Citadel Tile Set Deluxe Edition" from The Dragon's Rest is a huge collection of amazing 3D printed hex based tiles. There's a total of 136 pieces NOT including the 52 bases and clips! All this allows you to create near infinite map layouts for popular tabletop sci-fi dungeon crawl games such as Blackstone Fortress from Games Workshop.

The "Deluxe" edition contains beautifully sculpted cover terrain set into groups of tiles. Each piece is an individual sculpt made to complement every tile combination found in the Blackstone Fortress box set from Games Workshop. Double and Single cover tiles are also supplied to allow you to build custom cover combinations if needed. There's 40 open tiles to allow you to fill in the blanks along with all the speciality pieces like portals, transports, stasis cube, chutes, stairs, pits, access controls and a turret.

You even get a handy Citadel Scanner to use as a turn token.

Each tile is around 80mm in diameter on the longest edge and the tallest tiles sit at just over 97mm high. There is enough space to easily fit 1x25mm and 2x32mm based characters in a single tile at any one time - including cover.

The set uses the supplied Dragon's Rest magnetic clip system to allow you to tear down your build and reassemble in completely different configurations quickly and easily. Enough double ended clips are included to configure your tiles into rooms. Included are single capping clips that have spaces for 5mm ball magnets if you'd like to magnetise things.

Due to the large size of this set please allow a minimum of 14 days for printing before dispatch.

Please note: Card tiles and miniature characters are for illustrative purposes only. This set is for the terrain pieces only.

What Is 3D Printing?

With 3D printing we take specially designed computer files of each object and print them on our farm of 3D printers. Each object is printed from a roll of PLA - a special kind of plastic processed from the starch of plants. The PLA is threaded though a heated nozzle to melt it. As the nozzle moves around the print bed each object is built up by a tiny single layer at a time. This is a slow process and due to this method of manufacture you may be able to see layer lines in the models.

About Our Products

Due to the printing process there may be tiny imperfections in each model. These imperfections can be cleaned up in the same way you would clean mold lines when preparing traditional plastic miniatures. The prints can be cleaned, trimmed, glued, primed and painted just as you would with normal plastic miniatures. We recommend using the "gel" type of superglue to stick any parts together rather than plastic cement.

All of our prints are packaged straight from the printer and our product pictures always show our own printed products straight from the print bed so you can see exactly the kind of quality to expect. You can also follow us on instagram if you would like to see some of our communities painted pieces or to see our printers going [you may even see your order being printed!] https://www.instagram.com/tabletopterrain/

We use a premium quality PLA+ which gives us much stronger pieces and a great print quality over some of the cheaper PLAs.
