These retired figures were produced from the original Ideal molds in the 1980s. This lot features one 12-piece set of 4 mounted figures in 2 poses, 4 horses in 2 poses and 4 jousting lances.
These models are based on pose designs from the Hal Foster Prince Valiant comic strip and the 1954
movie starring Robert Wagner, Janet Leigh, Sterling Hayden and James
Mason.
This
range has been out of production for nearly 20 years, but the figures are in pristine mint condition. They have been stored in our smoke-free, climate-controlled warehouse since they were initially purchased from the manufacturer in the 1980s.
