Coin Silver Cream Pitcher John P. Targee New York, New York c1810 Hand Wrought

Presented is Great Large sized Creamer pitcher  or sauce boat made by John P. Targee New York, New York c1810. I have posted pictures of my research in the photos above for further information about the maker. This beautiful creamer has an oblong profile with a wide dipped spout and a high angled handle and rest on four lion paw feet. This is a very nice useable piece in lovely a light engraved script mixed letter monogram in cameo of what I believe to be EMC framed in a ribbon motif and no dings with only slight push in of feet seen from interior and a visible seam seen from interior that may be from  origial creation or a past repair running up from the base to the middle of pot where the handle was attached, a scratched identity mark of A3245 under right front foot near mark, some scratches from gentle use and care. This is a beautiful piece and a classic representation of American artistry as well as a wonderful example of the silversmith’s art.
