POSTAL CARD WITH VIEWS ON BACK
3 kopek green"Rocket to Moon"
4 kopek price on bottom line
A09208. 27/V 1965 in center of bottom line

32 (THIRTY TWO) VERTICAL BARS UNDER 5th ADDRESS LINE

Cards of similar ilk are listed in my 1970 HIGGINS & GAGE catalog, for instance, the closest I can come is HG#257d.  However, this card (and others that will be listed separately) differ in at least one characteristic. All listed "ROCKET TO MOON" type stamps (without the coat of arms) have 34 (thirty four) vertical bars under the 5th address line. The card being offered here (and others listed) have only 32 (thirty two).  Like the cards listed in my catalog, this card also has a printed line of text at the bottom edge with the 4 kopek price at the end of the line (see pic # 2 & 3 above). The card being offered here also has a date printed in the center of that bottom line--it reads "17/V 1965" which strongly suggests that this card appeared AFTER the 1961 issues with the 34 vertical lines. Other variations show up in the corner card. Perhaps someone with a more recent HG catalog can help. (FYI-two others are be listed separately)
