   Louis Vuitton licensed and collaborated with French Company of California, a luxury luggage manufacturer, to craft LV pieces in order to keep up with ultra high demand in the United States!  Time frame was back in the 1970's through the early 1990's.   As you can guess, due to the limited production time....they are very rare to find and when found.....treasured!   Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus...as well as other luxury luggage boutiques...like Myers, carried pieces specially crafted for the USA market during this time period - Some were even private labeled -
