Operation without fans and without rotating parts ensures safe, reliable, fail-safe and silent operation.

The mini computing machine has a standard BIOS (see picture below) and can boot from USB. Some users had a 4 GB memory card with Small Linux installed (the sound card also worked) and Windows in order to use the Futro as a surfing machine.
Power consumption: only 14 to 18 watts (depending on load, determined with a measuring device on the 230V socket)
