1982 Topps Baseball Cards. You can pick as many cards as you need. After your selection please send a list of what numbers you need-most numbers are currently in stock. I cannot "check inventory" before a purchase is made. I won't even respond to those requests any longer. Too many people inquire, I do the search and card pull, then they don't follow through. Consequently I have to go back and return those cards to inventory.
If you need more than one lot of 10 cards just adjust the quantity of lots purchased, any unused picks will be refunded promptly, however there is a .99 cent minimum purchase, whether you need 1 card or 10 Shipping is $4.25 for the first lot of cards you purchase & .25 for each additional lot.
Most cards are near Mint, with a few EX-Mt. The vast majority were pulled from wax packs, cello packs or vendor boxes by me back when they came out. These are the excess from my set building back then. They were removed from packs and sorted into numerical order to build sets and have been stored in 3200 count boxes since then.
All cards are subject to pre-sale as they are offered in other venues as well and mistakes in editing happen from time to time. Any unused/previously sold picks will be refunded at time of shipment. PLEASE READ: I created this listing thinking I could get some of my excess cards into the hands of fellow collectors & set builders who need them to complete their sets. Beats burning them, I thought. These type of listings are basically a wank, i.e., they take more time than they are worth, as virtually no profit is realized at the considerable expense of time. Time to organize the cards. Time to list them. Time to edit the listing. Most notably time to pull the cards and package them for shipping. All for a paltry sum that is still complained about periodically. Recently I had an order for 50 cards. The list that was sent to me contained mostly major stars and H.O.F. members. I spent about an hour assembling all I could to satisfy this 5 dollar order. When I emailed the buyer to give the final count as well as the cost (.75 ea.) for the 4 Hall members I had in stock, the buyer complained they were spending "almost 10 dollars (including shipping) on a set that isn't worth that much more". I cannot help that the USPS charges nearly 4 bucks to ship a package of 50 cards. That is out of my control.Well, that is kind of the last straw for me with this type of listing. If you are one of the many "watchers" of this list, please get your order in soon as I will be ending the listing and donating the remainder of the cards I have to charity. Even a retiree has better ways to spend an hour of their time!
Not only is this a cost effective method to complete your set, 10% of every sale/lot will go to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. You complete your set, I liquidate some extras and the kids get some funding, everyone is a winner.
