Upon seeing this, the average gamer will probably exclaim, "What the hell is this?" Or something much worse. Psychic Force 2012 is one weird fighting game, the type of game which could only ever come from Japan, and only appeal to anime fans or people who surprised themselves by liking games like Dragonball Z on the Super Famicom/SNES. It's converted from Taito's arcade machine, and while it is entirely made of polygons, and looks slightly better than the arcade, we're not talking about a game which pushes the DC. Unfortunately, Taito stubbonly shun the Naomi hardware and continue to use their own vastly inferior boards. The game is very confusing, which isn't helped by the fact that you are always in the air, flying around while trying to fight, but then again, that's what makes the game so unique. While this isn't my cup of tea or even coffee, I do know a few people who really love this game, and all I can really say, is that if you're a fan of weird manga-style fighting games, you might well like this one also. At the risk of stereotyping the potential buyer, I'd say if you like Dragon Ball Z games, then you may well enjoy this.
