This is a SCARCE and exceptional find!! It is "Walt Disney's Bambi Hankies." Published by Walt Disney Productions, 1942. Book contains an abridgment of the Bambi stories and 4 Disney Hankies--Thumper, Flower, Owl and Bambi. The book itself is SCARCE and very few are being offered--even copies missing the hankies are scarce. It is most unusual to find a complete copy and this copy has all 4 original hankies. It appears that the hankies have never been removed from their compartments in the book. The book shows a Xmas, 1942 gift note. There is a toch of edgewear and an edge chip as shown in my photos. Still a Very Good to Near Fine copy!! Measures 7 1/4 X 9 1/4. It is most unusual to find a children's book in such nice condition. I have located ONLY ONE OTHER COPY COMPLETE WITH ALL 4 HANKIES IN ALL OF MY INTERNET SEARCHES AND THIS BOOK IS BEING OFFERED FOR $850!!!!
