This is an authentic remanufacture nameplate off the Anniversary Edition of the 1941 Columbia Superb Bicycle made by the Columbia Bicycle Company in PA.  This is an excellent badge and would make a great addition to your collection. Columbia is the oldest Bicycle Company going back to 1877.  This badge is exactly like the ones used on the War bikes and you can't tell any difference from the original.  The War bikes used Aluminum in place of brass. "Note: I received feedback from an ebayer that states this badge is not painted the same as his prewar badge. Columbia said the 1941 was never produced because of the start of WWII. They made this bike from drawings they had saved since that time to commemorate the bicycle. Maybe the paint scheme was different."  The mounting holes are 2 1/16" apart c to c over the radius and not parallel.
