The AF 85mm F1.4 Full Frame for Sony E is the fourth new lens introduced this spring by ROKINON. It is ROKINON’s sixth autofocus lens designed specifically for optimal quality imaging with Sony full frame mirrorless cameras and as a high speed 127.5mm telephoto equivalent with Sony APS-C models. Its complex optical construction consists of 11 Ultra Multi Coated (UMC) elements in eight groups, including High Refractive Index (HR) glass for a more compact lens with high image resolution. The achromatic design incorporates Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass to effectively correct chromatic aberrations and minimize peripheral softness. This autofocusing 85mm was designed with creativity in mind.

The bright F1.4 aperture provides excellent performance even when shooting indoors or in darker conditions and precise selective focus control. Attractive bokeh is created through precision lens polishing and a nine blade iris for natural, circular, out-of-focus highlights at all apertures. The ROKINON AF 85mm F1.4 for Sony E utilizes two Linear Ultrasonic Motors (LSM’s) that only have to adjust a single inner lens group. This internal focusing design provides fast, precise, and quiet autofocusing and a non-rotating 77mm filter mount.  The durable aluminum body is weather sealed for enhanced dust and water protection to enable photographers to continue shooting even under adverse conditions.

The AF 85mm F1.4 FE is inspired by the optical vision of the MF 85mm F1.4 AS IF UMC, which has been loved for its beautiful out-of-focus images since its launch in 2008: however, this new lens develops the original's existing strengths with a much more advanced optical design, newly optimized for mirrorless cameras. This lens of great value and charm with high resolution encapsulates Rokinon's universally respected 40-year optical technology in your photographs.

The AF 85mm F1.4 FE cherishes Rokinon's world class optical technology while envisioning a new leap forward, with its quick and accurate autofocus performance and excellent resolution.

Exceptional bokeh 
The lens's attractive bokeh, created through precise lens polishing, adds a great feeling of depth and space in your photographs. Also, its aperture mechanism comprises 9 precisely-controlled iris blades, providing natural, circular, out-of-focus highlights at all apertures. Expressing a visual feeling of depth 
The short telephoto focal length, combined with the wide maximum aperture of f/1.4, enables photographers to achieve a dramatically shallow depth-of-field, setting your pictures apart from those taken with other lenses. This optic offers great creative freedom: it yields images with depth, while maintaining an appropriate distance from the subject; it separates subject and background naturally, providing an impressive visual feeling of depth. 

Controlling chromatic aberration with ED glass 
The AF 85mm F1.4 FE features a total of 11 glass elements; the ED (Extra Low Dispersion) elements have been incorporated into its precise achromatic design. This design corrects chromatic aberrations, and creates quality results, with peripheral softness also being well-controlled. 

Designing a complex optical system with High Refractive elements 
Four HR (High Refractive) elements, made of special materials with an outstanding refractive index, improve optical performance and enable a compact optical design. The AF 85mm F1.4 FE was designed from the ground-up with this technology, to lessen its users' burden with a shorter length and smaller size. 

Fast and efficient autofocus with DLSM Technology 
DLSM (Dual Linear Sonic Motor) works with ultrasonic vibrations, which cannot be heard by human ears, to successfully give a silent autofocus performance. The accurate high frequency signals, controlled with Rokinon's own protocols, precisely operate the DLSM. Specialists in optics, mechanical engineering, and electronics, have researched cooperatively to give these powerful results for a short telephoto lens. The introduction of DLSM technology on an 85mm lens means you can comfortably and silently capture the subjects you want, with quick efficiency. 

Weather sealing design for protection from adverse conditions 
The aluminum body, designed with precision by mechanical engineering specialists, has only three spaces in its basic design. Weather sealing covers even these small spaces to effectively protect the lens from dust and rain. This protective design enables users to capture the moment outdoors in any environment, providing the dependability you need to keep shooting. 

Outstanding contrast with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology 
Rokinon's Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology is applied through a thorough cleaning process, followed by Ion-Beam Sputtering (IBS), which controls the spread of reflections while still enabling a high transmittance of light. This UMC technology reduces unwanted reflections and provides crystal clear image quality, minimizing flare and ghosting effects in high contrast environments, such as backlit pictures and nightscapes.

The AF 85mm F1.4 FE is a medium-telephoto lens with a very bright aperture. Thanks to its compact optical design and aluminum construction, it can be contained within a small and lightweight body, enabling photographers to carry and handle a lens of this type with ease.

• Return Policy
  You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.
  
  Removal or alteration of a product's upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.
  
• Refunds
  Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 2-5 days after receipt of the returned merchandise.
  
• Exchanges
  If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase
  
• Defective Item
  An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.
  
• Damaged Items
  All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.
  
• International Customers
  Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.
  

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

• Replacement
  We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.
  
  To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item, and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product upon completion of our return process.
  
• Returning Items
  If you do not have the return form, we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.
  
  All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are not followed.
  
  Retuned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to Buydig.
  
• Television Returns
  Buyers Remorse for TVs in Brand New condition:
  If you are not 100% satisfied with your TV purchase, you may return it within 30 days from delivery for a full refund, less return shipping fees. Please note that a 15% restocking fee may apply. All returned TVs must be in their original box and include all packing material, manuals, and accessories.

  For Common Deliveries (FedEx, UPS):
  Please inspect the TV and report any damages (e.g. cracked screen, scratches, dents, etc.) within 2 days by contacting us at 1.800.617.4686
  For Special Handling/Freight deliveries:
  Please open and inspect the TV prior to signing for it. If the TV is cracked or damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately at 1.800.617.4686.
  
  Please note damage claims will be denied for the following:
  TVs with over 60 minutes of recorded usage
  TVs that have been moved from the original delivery address
  
  All damage claims must be made within two (2) days of delivery. We will issue a refund and cover all shipping costs.
  
  
• International Returns
  The customer is responsible for paying for return shipping should they decide to return the product.
  
• Return Exception
  Every item we sell is BRAND NEW and under manufacturer's warranty, unless clearly stated otherwise. Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, due to manufacturer restrictions, there are certain items on which we cannot accept returns. The manufacturer will generally repair or replace the item so long as it is under warranty.

DJI will NOT authorize any returns to us if there are any signs of use like dirt, grass stains, nicks or any signs of use. For these situations, the Return Authorization would need to be handled directly between the customer & DJI
