It's called a 24.5" spring, but it is meant to fit into spring hangers that are 24" apart (leaving some space for the 'slipper' to flex and extend).
If your springs measure slightly longer than 24/24.5" that is normal, springs can flatten out over time and measure slightly longer than they
did when they were new.
To get a more accurate measurement you will want to measure the distance between your hangers from center to center 。
