An old enameled 19^th Infantry Regiment, The Rock of Chickamauga Hat badge.  The US Army 19^th Infantry Regiment fought in many Civil War battles and was known as “The Rock of Chickamauga” due to the Regiments ability to hold off many Confederate attacks during the height of the battle.  The Regiment also fought in the Indian Wars, WWI, WWII, etc.  The enameled badge has no chips or cracks in the blue and white enamel.  The badge states

“19, THE ROCK OF CHICKAMAUGA”

The badge is 1 ¼ x 1 3/16 inches in size.  The badge does not have a twist nut on the back screw and otherwise is in nice condition.  Please see the other vintage items I have listed on eBay.  Thanks for looking.
