Very nicely carved large shell cameo set in a 14K frame it can be worn as a brooch or pendant.
The carved shell cameo depicts a classical motif of the profile view of a women with flowers in her hair.
The bail on the back can swivel and fold down when being worn as a brooch.

The cameo inside the frame measures approximately 2 1/2" Long by 1 7/8" Wide.
The total weight of this brooch is approximately 20.9 grams.

The clasp on the pin back is stamped 14K.
The back of the shell cameo looks to be signed UP? Last photo in gallery above.

Also on the back there is a flat smooth rectangular area.
Originally I thought it was remanence from an old sales tag but it wouldn't come off.

This cameo brooch has some light surface wear as to be expected with antique / vintage jewelry.
The pin back on this brooch has been replaced and is not gold.
Also the bail at the top was added and it's a little crooked.
Overall this is a beautiful brooch is in great condition.
