~ Fit/Length...

• Specify the completed inside circumference or end-to-end measurement you need for your fit/purpose
  • Maximum length (via this listing/price): 10 inches
  • Default length (if you do not specify): 8 inches

• This listing is designed for purchasing lengths up to 10 inches
  • Lengths up to 36 inches are listed separately
  • Lengths over 36 inches (up to 72 inches) are listed separately
  • Lengths over 72 inches can usually be listed by special request
• Remember to include any needed extra length in your calculation, such as if you'll be adding large beads that will "use" some of the inside circumference, etc.

~ Hardware Color and Finishing Style...

• Photo shows color options and "completed" style (cord diameter varies by sample)
  • Exact look of individual components may vary between colors, sizes and pieces
  • Clasp will be attached with a Split Ring for better security than a jump ring would provide
    • Larger Lobster Clasps can be made available by request (at a higher price).
    • Magnetic Clasps can be made available by request (at a higher price)
  • Cord terminators are "fold-over"/crimp style, with an eyelet end up to 4 mm wide
  • You may request one end be left "not terminated" (for stringing something that won't fit over the terminator)
  • You may request that one or both ends be "completed" with a split ring and coil knot instead (sample photos coming soon)**
    • ** Stringing a charm over a coil knot end will not be possible
    • ** The thicker the cord, the bulkier the knot
  • "Copper (Rose)" has limited availability; please request that I add it for your "variation" if you wish to purchase
    • This color is currently ONLY available for 1.5 and 2 mm cord
  • "Gold Fill (14k/20)" has limited availability (and a higher price); please request that I add it for your "variation" if you wish to purchase

• Metal composition varies between colors and components
  • Base metal components are usually Brass or Steel, and may be "Plated" or "Finished"
  • "Sterling Silver" components are real .925 Sterling Silver*
  • "Gold Fill" components are real 14k/20 Gold Fill*
  • * Due to the high precious metal content for Sterling Silver and Gold Fill...
    • ... the internal spring mechanisms for clasps must be base metal (usually Steel or Brass)
    • ... thin components usually bend more easily than the base metal version

~ Cord Color...

• Color names are quoted from the cord manufacturer
• Appearance can vary between display types/settings, dye lots, etc.
• Sample photos usually include multiple diameters and/or dye lots to better represent the possible variance
• The "Natural Dyed" options are made by dipping the cord in the dye so it absorbs it; this generally gives a more "muted" look, and often shows the natural tone variation of the hide.
• The Standard and "Metallic" options are made by coating the cord, so the tone is generally more even/consistent across a single piece; these colors usually appears glossy or semi-glossy.
• Additional leather cord colors are listed separately (more than 90 total!)
