Pinball Cabinet, Heavy Fabric, Leg Protectors, Black, $6.99 set of 4
You can protect your game for around $12, including shipping.
I have dark, charcoal, grey, protectors available at the following listing number 311306947920
Protect your pinball machine game cabinet from leg damage. The edges of steel legs compress the wood and dig into cabinet decals or paint as the game is played and moved. This is a real problem with decals, as they compress, and cut under the pressure of the legs working against them as you play or move the machine. These 1/8" thick felt like protectors take up the slack like a washer under a bolt and help keep the wood from compressing and loosening the leg. The metal leg does not touch the cabinet any more.
The protectors are almost invisible once installed. Only you will know that they are there. We tested them on our Scared Stiff pinball and they work great. They are approximately eight inches long. Once under the leg you can move them slightly while tightening the leg to insure proper alignment. They will compress down to about 1/32 of an inch. They will fit most all pinball machines. You will receive four cabinet protectors, enough for one pinball machine, for only $6.99. These don't look like much but they do work. If nothing else, it's a feel good thing knowing they are there.
These are not die cut or anything like that. My son, made up a jig and cut all these by hand and now uses a special punch to create the oversize mounting holes. My young son has taken on this project in hopes of earning a few dollars in order to help keep up the repair of his first car. (of coarse he keeps running into repairs) He bought a 1984 El Camino. A really cool car for him. The current V6 engine is tired and uses about a quart of oil a week. An engine rebuild is in the works right now and a Chevy 350 cu in V8 will be going in place of the V6. (see photos) Give him a hand and protect your pinball at the same time. He was enrolled at the St Cloud Technical College here in Minnesota and he has now finished his second year of the two year course for automotive repair. The El Camino let's him test his skills.
El Camino Kid Update: The 350 cu engine is in and runs great. It's been bored to 60 thousandth over. The car now has custom duel exhaust and sounds really cool. He actually took it to the race track and ran it in the drag races. He didn't win but sure had fun. The body of the car is next. He'll keep picking away at it.
International buyers are welcome, I'll send them out to you at calculated post office cost. It is worth our time to fill out a customs form. There is no handling charge as Adam is trying to earn his money if you know what I mean. (We hate bogus handling charges). Try them and if you don't like them, send them back, within 30 days for a full refund. Please give us some good feedback and/or suggestions after you try them on your game. He wants them right! Thanks for taking a look!
Any other cabinet leg protector out there that looks like these are copied from us. We're flattered that they feel these are good enough to want to copy them. My son, Adam has put a lot of time & effort in these and we hope you'll buy them from him.
Here is a nice note from some of our customers:
