Offered for sale is this charming porcelain
sugar sifter decorated with a pheasant, made by Locke & Co. Ltd of
It is approx.
5 inches tall and 3 inches diameter across the base, and is offered for sale in
very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lid is made of silver and would benefit from polishing. The
lid is a little dented and quite thin with a feint hallmark. The hallmark is
difficult to read but looks like BCD. anchor, lion & letter K
It is fully marked on the base with the Locke
& Co. Ltd stamp which I understand dates it from 1902 to 1914.
