1&This sword is specially made according to ancient Japanese making method. Hand forged, hand abrasive. It is nice looking and worth to have at this price. Its hard to find a better sword with this price as a gift, collection and for ordinary practice.
Of Forge Details
2&Blade:This kind of sword is hand forged, Absorb the both advantage high quality blade steel and folded into 1 sword. AISI 1060 High Carbon Steel are folded 12 times creating 4096 layers. the visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging.
3&The blade itself has been treated with black acid thus creating a cool black dish looking blade. The black acid does not affect the quality or functionality of the blade.
4&This is a very good balanced sword which lies well in your hand.The polishing is done with Japanese sharpening stone.The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
5&Tsuba: The Tsuba (guard) of the sword is made of lron. The Habiki (blade collar) is of high quality copper. Two Seppas (spacer) secure the Tsuba.
6&Tsuka: The Tsuka (handle) core is wooden and it is tightly wrapped over genuine Ray skin Samegawa with a black synthetic Ito. The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made of alloy. The Tang of the sword is secured by two Mekugi (peg). Two alloyed Menuki (ornament) are on each side of the Tsuka.
7&SayaThis saya (sheath) of the sword is hard wooden with a black mat finish . A black cord Sage-O has been tied around the bright copper Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard. the Koiguchi has been hardened.

(2) This sword can be taken apart fully anytime for maintenance purposes, you can disassemble the sword from the handle by taking out pegs.
